Comet

Comet is a happy, resilient 1 year old boy who doesn’t let anything slow him down! Although he had one of his front legs amputated, he has adapted well and is thriving.

Comet loves to “chase” his foster brothers and sisters around the house and yard and enjoys playing with other dogs. Because he gets around by hopping on one front leg, he can tire more easily and appreciates having time to rest and recharge.

This sweet boy loves snuggles, kisses, and spending time with his people. Sometimes the world can feel a little overwhelming, and when that happens, Comet will seek out a quiet spot to relax. His favorite place is often under the bed on the cool floor.

When Comet first came into rescue, he was extremely underweight. Thanks to the love and care of his foster family, he is slowly gaining weight and getting stronger every day. He is currently around 40 lbs. Comet is fully house trained, gentle with children, and has a loving, affectionate personality that will melt your heart. He is looking for a family who will appreciate his special spirit and give him the love he deserves.
