For 811 days, Jan (JanJan, Janny) has watched the world go by from the sidelines. This beautiful husky mix has spent over two years in rescue, waiting patiently for someone to see her, really see her, and choose her as their furever.

Jan is a sweet soul with a gentle heart. Her eyes light up when she’s outside, feeling the wind in her fur, and her tail wags with joy when she’s around people who show her kindness.

But Jan’s journey hasn’t been easy. Her high prey drive means she cannot be in a home with small animals, a detail that has made finding the right match more difficult. It’s not her fault. It’s just part of who she is. And still, she waits.

She’s not broken. She’s not difficult. She’s just waiting for someone who understands her needs and sees the incredible love she has to give.
